Ohio Valley University Ohio Valley University (OVU) College of Professional Studies proudly offers a tuition discount of ten percent for soldiers in the WV National Guard and their immediate family members (spouses and children). If the classes are taught at the Huntington Postal Federal Credit Union and the student is a credit union member (he/she can join one for opening a $5 savings account), the credit union member tuition discount of ten percent will also apply, making a total discount of 20 percent. Tuition is $250 per credit hour, so the net tuition rate would be $200 per hour in that case. As indicated in the attached brochure, OVU uses multiple facilititators from the various business disciplines to enable students a maximum quality baccalaureate experience. This program also promotes active learning by facilitating peer teaching and learning, which are essential components in effective adult learning program.
